October 2014: Mike's birthday and other fun events

October 8th: Looks like more food postings! These were the yummy entrees that we ordered at Claim Jumper with Jacob and Shauna. They treated us out for Mike's early 55th birthday. Thank you kids!!

October 11th: The kids and their families met us at Jason's Deli for Mike's early birthday lunch. Afterwards, we all went to the Domingo Baca Park for the kids to play.

Joey's not too thrilled about the teeter-totter, but Tyler's eager to try it out!

October 17th: I offered to throw our primary president, Rebecca Struve, her first baby shower at our house. She requested a chocolate party! Jessica made the invitations and called it "Mommy's Chocolate Heaven Night." My friend Patti Waseta came over on the 16th (her 59th birthday!) and did most of the pretzel and strawberry dipping. Later that day, Jessica came over and dipped Oreo cookies and decorated the strawberries. They did a GREAT job! One of the invited guests works for the Hershey's Candy Company and gave me a grocery bag with an assortment of chocolates for the party--York Peppermint Patties, Rolo's, Reese's Peanut Butter Sticks, and York Peppermint Pieces.
