August 2016: Fresh, sweet, juicy peaches!
This August, our young peach trees produced dozens of huge, sweet, juicy peaches! We ate peaches everyday and made a couple of Peach Crisp desserts. I wanted to give some to my mother, to my children, and to a friend who had requested some. But our peaches were so ripe that we needed to eat them the same week we picked them! We also had a windy rain storm that knocked several off the tree. These were the BEST peaches produced from our newer trees.
