Looking back into the past: Old photos of old times

I went through Jenny Hobbs' entire family blog and saw so many old photos that I had forgotten about. The photos brought back some great memories, so I decided to copy some of the photos and put them into this blog post. Enjoy!

I sure do love my children, my grandchildren, and all of our family. Let the good times keep on rolling!

Spring 2022: Second Time's the Charm!

April 1st, 2022: Evan tied the knot once again, this time with Carly Knowles in Nashville Tennessee. Mike and I really enjoyed seeing Cathy's family and meeting the newest family members!

Happily and recently married, Warren and Anna Lemmon

Warren lucked out with his second sweetheart of a wife, Anna

Evan with his sister Raquel, her husband Kobin Kempe, and their baby boy, Oliver (whom I got to hold and to feed during the reception)

Lately I've been in the mood to "clean up" house and freshen up the rooms by updating the colors, etc. In the family room, I added orange and dark blue to the sofa and end table. In the dining room, I added a splash of color on the buffet with a gorgeous arrangement of tulips. In the kitchen, I replaced the small canvas floral wall hangings with framed ones that are not so bright. In the back guest room, I replaced the wreath with a large canvas ocean sunset; I put the wreath on a smaller wall. In the other guest room, I moved the large Carol Griggs picture from the side wall to the wall above the headboard. Small changes with dramatic results--and not too expensive either. Mike lets me know if he likes the changes or not. I want us both to be happy with our surroundings/aesthetics!

Mike's always a great helper with the hard stuff, like hanging large or heavy items for me. He's really good at it too! He's also the best maintenance man. He fixes things, and he replaces burned out lights, fixtures, etc.

Hmm, small basket with greenery, or white vase with white tulips?

Garland lights on the olive tree; and greenery on the dining table

I moved the large picture down onto the fireplace mantle; added the new decorative vases; and removed the 4 small glass containers with orange flowers that used to sit on the mantle.

I added the blue pot with orange flowers and the orange and blue pillows and blanket to the leather sectional to liven up the room.
