I had the coordinates for a geocache near the crash site. The GPS had a difficult time in the narrow canyon. Celestine insisted we keep looking for the treasure. We eventually found the geocache. The geocache contained newpaper clippings of the crash as well as messages from ancestors of the crash victims. The hike was inspirational!

Hey great pics! We had fun with you guys at dinner the other night. Thanks for the curry and cake. It was also nice to see your mom's house (Cell), you did a great job beautifying and painting it.
That hike looks fun. I'm surprised all that is still up there. I especially liked Jacobs Smeagal picture (it really looks like him too, the pose was perfect.) We'll be praying he gets his mission call to Japan this week! Love ya tons, Jenni and fam
Wow! These are great pictures. You guys are always having some type of awesome experience. What is this about the mission call? Are the papers in? Are we just waiting? Does he really want to go to Japan? That would be neat. Let us know what happens.
Looks like a fun hike. I've never done any of the geo-caching stuff. I bet that's cool. It will be exciting to find out where Jacob goes on his mission, keep us posted!
This was one of the coolest local hikes I have taken. I want to go again this month to see the Fall colors. Too bad Cel and I have to work and Sam has school! Jacob has had his mission papers in for two weeks. We are expecting something towards the end of the week. It sure is hard waiting! I want him to go to my old stomping grounds--Japan Sapporo, although where ever he goes is fine with him and us!
