January seems like such a LONG time ago now. We had a few snow falls after the holidays that was fun to see. And we ate a lot of yummy food, entertained friends, and did a little babysitting here and there for the kids.

January 8th: A very LARGE pan of hearty Cabbage & Noodles for dinner--yum! |

January 11th: Mike's old missionary companion, Ken Beck, was down here from Colorado for work. This is the second time we got to have him over for a visit. He is such a nice guy! He brought us a little chocolate cake from his favorite bakery. |

January 19th: Sam, Kiley, and Eli Hobbs. I think I was babysitting this day. |

January 25th: Jessica Dunlap over for a visit. Looks like we're making something in the kitchen.... |

February 5th dinner: BBQ ribs, roasted red spuds, fresh green beans w/bacon, and steamed cabbage & carrots |
 |
February 13th: Mike's early Valentine's Day meal: Lobster tails, pan-fried spuds, and ribeye steak! |
 |
February 18th: Celebrating Elise's 3rd birthday at Dion's with all the Wallace and Hobbs families |
 |
Happy Birthday our beautiful and sweet little Elise! You are a priceless gem, and we love you SO MUCH! |

February 26th: Another tasty meal with: top sirloin steak and roasted carrots & red potatoes |

March 3rd: We met our good friends, Jennifer & Mike Park at a crepe restaurant for lunch. We miss being their home teachers and our monthly visits. They moved into the Albuquerque East Stake. |

March 9th: Family portraits of Sam & Kiley Hobbs and their beautiful boys. Joey (4) and Eli (2) are precious and full of boyish energy. I miss their weekly visits to our home!

March 10th: Lunch with my mother at Japanese Kitchen |

March 27th: Mastering the art of baking whole wheat bread |
 |
March 29th: Making more homemade bread the same week. We gave most of it away. |
 |
March 31st: My baby brother, Vernon Pitcher during a neurology appointment. The girl next to him is Michelle Benefield who works with Providence Inc, the company that owns and manages the group home where Vernon lives. |
