2018-19: Sleepovers at Grandma's house

I started having my grandkids in town spend the night with us on scheduled weekends. I had Hannah and her cousin Elise first. Then I had Hudson by himself. Then I had Tyler by himself. Then I had Beau by himself. Now I'm starting over again!

I love our one-on-one time with our grandchildren, but I also like them to play with their siblings and cousins. We go hiking, watch movies, play games, go out to eat, go shopping, go to church, and just hang out together. Wish we could do the same with Jared and Sam's kids.

It was the boys' turn for a sleepover at Grandma's house with Tyler, Beau, and Hudson

First thing Saturday morning was driving out to the west side rocket site to watch rockets get launched!

The boys LOVED this outing

A very nice man gave each of our boys their own rocket to launch
Thanks to Grandpa Hobbs for finding out about this cool event!

March 16-17, 2019:  Before Hannah and Elise got cleaned up for the day, they ate a hot breakfast
Snack time later with their hair brushed

April 6th and 7th: Tyler spent the night with us, and he was such a fun grandson to hang out with

Sweetest boy ever!
We took Tyler on a hike with us in the Sandia Foothills, but we forgot our camera!
April 13th and 14th: Hudson's turn for a sleepover at Grandma's house

Enjoying his favorite foods from Sonic

After Hudson's bath and bedtime routine, he was so ready to sleep!

A hot breakfast for our Hudson, who was fighting a cough

We took Hudson for a bouldering hike in the Sandia Foothills, where he discovered this rock cave

I love you Hudson boy!

April 27th and 28th: Beau had his turn for a sleepover at our house
Time to get washed up for the evening

Hanging out with Grandpa and up in the tree house (in our lower yard)
that Mike and Sam built a few years ago before Sam moved to Texas

On the same hike we took his older brother Hudson

This boy LOVES to climb!

Beau found the cave that Hudson had found! We rested in the shade and ate our lunch here.

Two exhausted hikers take a nap when we come home

Beau was so tired that he slept for four hours! He was so sad when his family came for dinner
and then it was time to go back to his home, because he lost those four hours with us.
We love you so much Beau. You can stay with us ANYTIME!
