July 3rd: Our last day in London. We got tickets for two shows--a matinee at the Apollo Victoria Theater for "Wicked" and an evening show at the Victoria Palace Theater to see "Hamilton." Both shows were exceptional. Mike and I LOVE to see live shows in London. There are so many to choose from, and you can find discounted ticket prices for most of them. It always reminds us of how very talented some people are--from the orchestra to the singers, actors, and dancers.
Before the first show, we walked over the London Millennium Footbridge and went to the Tate Museum to see the free art exhibits. We were not impressed or uplifted at all. I'm sure the other rooms that we didn't pay for had some beautiful pieces, but we missed them!
We shared a most delicious Italian chicken salad at Pret A Manger for lunch, and then later we shared a yummy chicken curry box at Wasabe in the Victoria Train Station for dinner. We also enjoyed snacks at both theaters and bought small ice creams and chips during the Hamilton intermission. Clean slate starting tomorrow!

How fun to see all of those great shows! Sorry the Tate was a bust! I remembered it being really interesting and cool from art class. Oh well!
