With a new house comes new problems. While Mike was checking each watering station around our house this spring, he discovered a bad leak on the west side of the sidewalk way under the ground. He had to do a lot of digging to find out where the leak was coming from (with my help). He replaced the PVC pipe and fixed the problem good as new.

So glad that Mike has excellent plumbing skills! |

We learned that the old retaining wall was missing footings, so we had to have it torn down and a new wall built to support the future concrete driveway. Money, money, money going, going, gone. |

We also had our contractor build "entry walls" into the two driveway entrances that would be decorated in flagstone, like our corner neighbor's wall |

After three leaks in our bedroom ceiling and another leak under our front porch, we hired another contractor to replace our red cement tiles with a new copper colored metal roof while we were waiting for our driveway to be finished. Here's the pretty new roof! |
