More photos to throw together this year. Working from home gives Mike and I more time to eat together, go on long walks, go on bike rides, see family, work on my Blog, and watch a lot of TV series, movies, and other shows.

One day we went to my mom's house and ripped out the old carpet and padding from one of her spare bedrooms, revealing beautiful hardwood flooring. We returned a week or so later and primed and painted the walls an Antique White, washed the windows, and hung new curtains to create a computer room for Vernon.

September 1st: Mike and I celebrated our 40th Anniversary (40 years from the first day we met in 1978) with Sushi at Hayashi Japanese Restaurant |

The new roller shade made it necessary to modify the wood valance to fit over the door again. Our good friend Rob Sorensen fixed the valance for us. He's a master craftsman, especially with wood. |
