August 2nd was Shauna's 37 birthday, and August 17th was Hudson's 11th birthday! I'm grateful that we live close enough to celebrate each of our Albuquerque kids and grandkid's special days. It brings joy and gladness to our hearts and makes the months more fun.

| August 2nd: Lunch date with our beautiful birthday girl at M'Tucci's Italian restaurant on the west side. Jessica joined us, and I treated the girls to pedicures and manicures afterwards. It was a fun afternoon! I forgot to take photos of our yummy lunch. |

| For Hudson's 11th birthday, Mike and I treated him to a Japanese restaurant to have sushi. After the meal, we went to Century Rio 24 to see a new martial arts movie called "Snake Eyes." We love our handsome Hudson man. |

August 14th: We had Cheryl Moss and her family over for dinner and games today, and they are SO MUCH FUN, and I can't remember the last time we had so much laughter in our house! I LOVE the Moss family. |

August 20th: Any excuse to have these precious girls over is a treat for me. Little Sofia and sister Hannah get creative with blocks and small toys. |
