March 2015: More fun with Joey, plus Peggy Dunlap's visit, and cousins play ball!

March 10th: Can't get enough of this little guy! Joey really enjoyed the tub once I showed him the boats and little people.

When Sam and Kiley were due home the following night, we took Joey and all his things to their apartment before their plane landed. My goal was to have Joey in bed asleep so they could get a good night's rest. It was after 11pm and Joey was tired but wanted to play with his cars. I held him in my arms and sang to him while I rocked him back and forth in his room near the crib. It took me a couple of tries before he'd stay asleep, but he was out like a light as his parents walked through the door!

Jess and her boys hung out with me and Joey that day,
and Hudson was excited to get some gummy worms at Sprouts

During Joey's nap time, he slept like a rock in the car with me
while Jess and her boys ran errands together

March 12th: Peggy Dunlap visits Albuquerque! She came to watch Sebastian perform in his West Stake Easter musical called "The Savior of the World" and to spend time with Seb and his family.

After Peggy attended Seb's final rehearsal, I joined them and the rest of the Dunlap's for dinner at
Red Robin, where we celebrated Peggy's 67th birthday. Doesn't she look so much younger?
Where does Peggy get such gorgeous, youthful skin and all her boundless energy?

March 14th: After Seb's last performance, we went out quite late to Applebee's for appetizers and another birthday celebration for Peggy.

On March 15th, we had Peggy and the kids over for dinner
before Peggy's return flight to Seattle (Kirkland) Washington

March 19th: Jess and her boys came over the same day that Sam had asked me to babysit Joey while he went to his dental appointment. It was so fun for Jess to see Sam and for the cousins to hang out together during Sam's absence. Their favorite part was playing basketball on the side patio. These are some of the most precious photos I've ever seen of our grandsons together!

Joey really loves his cousin Hudson,
and Hudson really loves his cousin Joey--especially now that he can walk!
Beau was being a ham and loved the basketball fun
Look at these two cuties!
Bosom buddies, Joey and Hudson

This guy looks so much like Jess when she was little!
