December 25-27, 2022: Christmas with the Dunlap's

December 25th: When we were driving home from Utah on Christmas, we didn't think we'd be able to make it for the Dunlap Christmas dinner, but we did! We were able to get home in time to shower and attend a later mealtime with Jess and Seb and their family, including Geoff and Peggy Dunlap who were visiting from Seattle. I even had time to start unpacking and to start up some laundry.

We were so glad we could be part of their Christmas evening fun! We had a wonderful dinner that Jessica prepared, and we got to open gifts from them and to watch them open gifts from us. It was great to be together, to help clean up after dinner, and to visit for a while.

When Mike and I got home, we had our own little Christmas and stayed up late. I love the holidays!

Time to open gifts from each other, which they saved till Mike and I could be there. This was a really fun idea! With Jacob and Sam's families, we watched them open gifts via FaceTime.

I think Hannah was happy with her Mermaid body blanket!

Now it's Beau's turn

What is it??

Beau loved his reptile (or amphibian?) body blanket

December 27th: After a day to ourselves and time to go grocery shopping, etc., we had all the Dunlap's over for our annual holiday dinner tradition. We had a great time together but unfortunately I have no photos!
