Sunday, May 12th: It's Mother's Day, and Jessica invited me and my mom for dinner and games. We enjoyed pizza, salad, Italian sodas, and munchies (during our games). THANK YOU my Jessica for your loving kindness! Mike got a little carried away with the photos (see below).
I got some awesome gifts from my family. Mike got me a handsome 2nd Generation Echo which he installed in our bedroom. He put the older one in my back sewing room. The new Echo has a much better sound quality. We use it to listen to the daily news and weather forecast. We also use it at night to play rain sounds for sleep.
Jenny and Jared bought me a new bottle of pure Hyaluronic Acid for my face. The clear serum helps to smooth and plump my skin. The gift was delivered by Amazon and came in a box with pretty fabric wrapping and a bow! Mike also ordered a bottle for me, so I should be good for the rest of the year 😄.
Jessica and Sebastian gave me a pretty Mother's Day card and a wrapped box filled with beautifully decorated cards written with various thoughts and words of love and gratitude AND fun little gifts that went along with the cards--pretty purple nail polish, a pink t-shirt that reads, "I Pooped Today!" (I'm not sure when or where I'll wear that t-shirt, but it's sure funny!), a glittery gold box full of chocolate Kisses, a bag of Dove's Dark Chocolates with Almonds, and two packs of cute note cards!
Shauna and Jacob gave me a beautiful Mother's Day card and a bag filled with eight colorful little Pioneer Woman hand-painted ceramic dipping bowls and a set of three lovely Pioneer Woman kitchen towels. I love all my sweet gifts! And I love all my family so much ❤️!
I am ever grateful to be a mother. I love my own mother, and I love being a mother to my four children and their wonderful spouses (they are my children too!). And I love being a Grandma to my 12 adorable grandchildren! My cup runneth over with love, and I am truly blessed!
