Thursday, June 20th: Mike was involved in the Conference again today, so after my morning shower, I went to the Spa and had the hotel guests' "Express Spa Package": a 15-minute hot towel back massage; a 15-minute neck and head massage; and 45 minutes to relax in a Salt Cave. What a treat! I thought about how much my girls and my sisters would enjoy an experience like that. It was so relaxing.

The Salt Cave at our hotel was cool and quiet |
I forgot to mention that on our flights out of NM, my ears got plugged so badly, that I couldn't hear normally until they finally got unplugged a whole day and a half later! Add that to my miserable head cold, and you can see why I needed to sleep as much as possible the first couple days.
After relaxing in the Salt Cave, I joined Mike for another buffet lunch in the hotel dining room--so much food! Then I stayed in our hotel room and worked on my laptop for a few hours.
This evening was the big conference Banquet at the Royal Palace of Godollo, so we rode on a bus out of town. It was nice to see the shopping centers, city streets, downtown buildings, and especially the villages, as we drove to Godollo. The palace was beautiful! It was the summer palace where Queen Elisabeth of Hungary ("Sisi") would go to relax from her duties.
