2019: Family, Food, and Friends

I have a scattering of photos of family, friends, and food that need their own blog--beginning with food made at home!

I didn't have any Panko bread crumbs in my pantry,
so I improvised: Golden fried Ritz Cracker Shrimp--not bad!
Large pot of fresh chicken soup

Small creamery potatoes before roasting them

Filleting and pounding out chicken breasts for
Chicken Marsala or Cheddar Chicken
The cool pineapple gizmo that my mom bought me
I now have a metal one too that she gave me. They work great!

Fried Rice

Chocolate chip walnut coconut cookies--sinfully good

The gorgeous peach-cherry pie that our neighbor,
Katalina Parrish, made for us

Store-bought California rolls for me and Mike
I have all the tools and ingredients to make these but still haven't

October 31, 2018: Dear friends Everett and Valerie Tsosie
and son Everett III drop by on Halloween

Winter 2018: Jacob and Shauna treated me and Mike out to
The Cheesecake Factory for dinner--yum!
Yummy dishes that friend Rosalee Rife and I had at Asian Plum
My ministering companion, Jeanette Reardon, and I
at Menchi's for frozen yogurt to celebrate her birthday
One of the many reasons the Dunlap kids LOVE their Grandpa
Geoffrey Dunlap. Whenever he visits, he plays with them and gets goofy!
My mother gets a routine blood draw

One of many eye exams for my mom. She has Retinal Vein Occlusion
in her left eye, which causes her to see floaters

Out to lunch at Buffet King with old friend Martha Green. Too much food!
Our young friend Vanesa Macias-Davila and her new friends visit
We were Vanesa's home teachers a few years ago, and she moved to Texas
Playing Suspend and snacking on munchies. We met at Dion's Pizza for dinner first
My mom shopping at an Asian grocery store, A-1 Oriental Market
Little Sofie at Chic-Filet trying out her standing position
I am in love with this baby girl!
I took my mom to my favorite fish place for lunch--the Slapfish Grill
She had clam chowder and Fish and Chips--my favorite

Out for a movie and dinner at McDonald's with my Dunlap grandkids

Marie and Rob Sorensen (and Pattie Waseta) join us for dinner
at Lime Cafe--one of our favorite Asian restaurants now

Crispy noodles with combination meats and vegetables--my favorite

Patti with her delicious stir-fried noodles with chicken and vegetables

Marie's chicken and vegetables without the rice
