December 2015: Holiday get-togethers with friends and family

This holiday season was filled with Christmas parties and get-togethers. Our first invite was to the annual Cranbrook Neighborhood Christmas Potluck on December 8th, which was hosted by our neighbors, Ann and Ken Nunez this year. The following night was another potluck dinner at a friend's home in our old neighborhood. The third party was our own Family Christmas Pajama Party/Pizza Night held on the 13th. After that, I had the kids over again for a one-on-one Christmas with each of them.

Their home was decked out in gorgeous Christmas decor in every room

Beautiful "goody table" in the Nunez' front living room

December 9th: My second holiday invite was to Carri Przekurat's home for a wonderful potluck dinner and gift exchange. She invited me last year too, and her home is decorated so beautifully throughout the house.

We had a lot of snow this winter. This was one of the new snowfalls late into the night and early morning hours

These are the flannel drawstring bags I made for the homeless. I filled them with essentials such as:
a water bottle, a bag of snacks, a toothbrush and toothpaste, a wash cloth, soap, shampoo, etc. I gave
each of our children six bags to keep in their cars, so they could hand them out to the homeless when needed
I bought patterns and the fabric to make our little grandsons new pajamas for Christmas this year
They turned out so cute, but the neck openings needed to be resized for both Beau and Hudson twice!
Hudson, Beau, and Tyler got Super Hero flannel sets, and Joey got an Emergency Vehicle flannel set
December 13th: Shauna and Jacob create their own pizza during our Family Christmas Party
Don't they look adorable and at home in those aprons?
