After Gordon and Taylor were sealed in marriage, the room full of family and close friends formed a line and went up to congratulate them. They were glowingly happy! We were all so grateful that Gordon and Taylor found each other in Salt Lake City.
Following the wedding, most of us were outside the temple hanging around for family photos, and the weather was not the best. It was cold, rainy, and overcast. Then later that day it snowed quite a bit. We stuck around for the hot chocolate bar at the Lion's House, and then the banquet upstairs afterwards. But I never went upstairs; I stayed in the room where the hot chocolate bar was served to take care of Tyler and Elise.
I was peeved that Taylor's family did not allow kids to attend the banquet, and my way of protesting was to steer clear away from the banquet along with my grandchildren. I was offended that the kids were not invited--especially since I'm the groom's aunt (his mother's twin sister), and because we had traveled a long distance by car to attend the wedding. But I love Gordon and Taylor and both of their families. I understand why Taylor's family did not want children at the banquet--too much noise and possible running around, but Jennifer Loch was allowed to take her children, so there were some double standards being implemented that night.

Howard was taking pictures, except for when he was in the photos!
Notice the old Tabernacle on Temple Square in the background, which is still being used |

We didn't get any decent family shots, but here's a side view of Cathy
(my twin sister) and her husband Howard (in the background) with Gordon and Taylor |

This is how chaotic things were for most of the time we were all standing around |

You can see a lot of the Lemmon family in this photo, with Grandpa Hal Lemmon smiling on the side |
