May 30th: Since Vernon visits my mom on Sunday afternoon to Monday afternoon each week, we decided to celebrate his June 1st birthday on Monday, May 30th so that he would be home at my mom's house for his party. We ordered a few pizzas, and I made a large salad and chocolate cake for the occasion. Jacob and Shauna came with their kiddos. The Babbitt's didn't end up making it due to illness, and we had a lot of food leftover. Vernon enjoyed the party, and the rest of us played games with my mom while the little ones played with Vernon's toys.
