November 2013: Let's eat cake! More birthday celebrations!

Jacob and Shauna treated Mike and I to dinner at the new Cheddar's Restaurant to thank us for the baby shower I had for Shauna earlier in the month. It was a fun dining experience for all of us. Too bad the photos of Jacob are so blurry.

We forgot to take pictures of our meals, but at least we got the dessert! 

This was Jacob's choice--
a rich chocolate cake topped with vanilla ice cream and fudge sauce--oowy-goowy!

November 15th: Jessica and her boys came over and surprised me with a lovely 3-layer cake and gifts for my 55th birthday (which was on November 17th), compliments to her and my dad. Sam and Kiley joined us, and we all had lunch together at home:

November 7, 2013: Celebration of Jessica and Sebastian's birthdays

November 7th, 2013: We celebrated Jessica's 29th birthday and Sebastian's 31st birthday at Cheddar's Restaurant, and then we went to the Dunlap house on the west side to play games and have dessert. Happy birthday Sebastian and Jessica!

November 2, 2013: Shauna Hobbs' baby shower

When we found out that Shauna and Jacob were having a GIRL, we had to throw Shauna another baby shower for girl stuff! We sent out cute owl-themed invitations for Saturday, November 2nd from 11am-1pm. We served a brunch and had pasta, homemade rolls, a lovely green salad, and mini muffins and cupcakes provided by my friend, Patti Waseta.

We had about 24 women at the shower, and Shauna got some adorable baby gifts--blankets, stuffed animals, booties, sleepers, a bouncing baby seat, and darling outfits.
