Sunday, August 25th: Jess invited us to attend her girls' Cheerleading competition at Bernalillo High School in the afternoon. It was fun watching all the girls (ages 6-16) cheering for their high school's football teams. They wore cheerleading uniforms and shaked their pompoms. Our favorites were Albuquerque High, Cleveland High, and our La Cueva High girls. Sofia and Hannah were adorable and worked so hard!
Saturday, August 24th: This was Krystalyn (Sloan) Moncur's baby shower. I had not seen her or her parents for many years. It was wonderful to see her and so many old Cherry Hill Ward friends.

Thursday, August 15th: Ashley Pitcher was in town to visit her Grandma Pitcher the week we returned from Utah. She came over to play pickleball with us while we had the Dunlap's over. She and Jess also played bocci ball together.

Sunday, August 25th: This was our neighbor, Dot Contois' 74th birthday, and she didn't have any plans to celebrate. So I invited her, her husband Mike, and their son Jordan to have dinner with us and to play games afterwards. |

Thursday, August 15th: Mike and I met Jessica at the temple for an endowment session together. Afterwards, we had lunch at our house.
 |
| I don't know where she gets her energy! I've been SO TIRED this month and this whole year, plus my joints have been extra sore. It sucks to get old. I love our Jessica! |
