June 24-26, 2017: Europe trip--Bad Tolz, Germany

June 24th and 25th: Bad Tolz--one of my favorite stays in Germany, and the drive was enchanting. In the village, flower boxes hung on every balcony. There were lively street markets, beautiful castles, waterfalls, and thick green forests. It was like being in a fairytale.

June 23-24, 2017: Europe trip--Bavaria, Germany

June 23rd and 24th: We flew from London to Munich. It was fun taking a large boat ride to see our first King Ludwik II castle in Germany. I especially loved the village where we stayed. The hotel was more like a cozy bed and breakfast with many old-fashioned touches and special attention to detail and service.
