January 1, 2007 --The great snow storm:

Sorry we haven't posted in a while. We have been so busy with all of our adventures (mostly our church callings). I'll try my best to catch you up on 3 months of Albuquerque Hobbs' activities. First there was the 50 year snow storm that hit Albuquerque just as we were driving back from Jessica's reception in Seattle. Here is a picture of the snow in our driveway. We shoveled all that snow with a gardening shovel. We don't own a snow shovel!

The New Year's Eve Dance was canceled (Sat. 12/30/06). Church was also canceled on New Year's Eve (Sun. 12/31/06). However, we did stay home and had a great New Year's Eve celebration with Jared and Jenny and some friends--the Campbell's and the Ward's. Celestine cooked up some mighty fine steak and Sam made cookies!

I think all in all, New Mexico probably beat Virginia in snowfall this year. We've had one minor storm and a few dustings -- that's it.

I can't believe all the snow in these pictures.

hahaha, the gardening shovel picture is funny! We used a rake, until the neighbors were so kind to let us use their snow shovel..Way to go Sam!
