This post was so long, so I decided to divide it into two parts. The following photos were taken on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. We were all invited to Julie and Brad's home for dinner and a family get-together. Julie made a delicious pot of chili, and Dan and Tam made a yummy pot of 3-cheese tortellini with an Italian red sauce. Others brought tasty side dishes and desserts.
It was fun to meet Kendall's girlfriend, Hannah and to see Julie and Brad and their children; and Steve and Linda's family (Scott and Gabby and their kids and Heather's two boys); and Dan and Tam's family (Jenni and Ted Finch and their two daughters, plus Angie Miles)! There are always so many of us at these gatherings.
I found myself hiding out in the basement with the wee grand boys more than socializing with the adults, since Beau kept taking my hand and leading me downstairs to where the toys were. I couldn't just abandon them in an unfamiliar place with all those stairs to climb!

What a fast, fun trip we all had!! Thank you Mom (Joy), for allowing us to stay in your warm, comfy home. And thank you Dan and Tam for inviting our family to join you for Thanksgiving dinner with your family. And thank you Julie and Brad for getting the whole family together at your home again to eat and visit! We love and cherish each of you so much! Have a beautiful Christmas and a very Happy New Year 2015!!
