April 10th: Friday was Jared and Jenny's last full day with us, and Mike went with them to the Rio Grande Zoo. Jess and the boys also joined them. I needed to take my mom to her neurology appointment and spent half the day with her. Here are some photos that Mike took at the zoo.

On our last evening together, I invited all the gang to come over for dinner. Reading to the boys afterwards was a challenge with so many of them. And it looks like I chose a boring book...

Jared and Jenny left the following morning, and as always, it was difficult and sad to say good-bye. I miss them terribly and wish they lived a lot closer. They will always be near and dear to my heart!
