September 23, 2020: Boys Day Out

The day before Tyler’s birthday, I decided to take him and his cousins to the Stone Age Climbing Gym to do some rock climbing. I picked them up from Jessica’s house, where Jacob’s family has been going every Wednesday after the schoolwork is done. The cousins love playing together every week. I’m sure they will all miss being together when Jacob’s family moves away early next year. I know that I will miss them terribly.

The boys were excited to have a special activity for just them. Hudson and Beau were especially skilled at rock climbing, and Beau is fearless! We went to a convenience store afterwards to buy some Icey’s to cool off, but they didn’t sell Icey’s. So we went to Target to buy some. They too did not sell Icey’s, but the boys were excited to pick out a toy. We got Slushies at Sonic Drive-Inn before heading home to the Dunlap’s house. It was a fun afternoon for me and the boys!
