Early December 2020: Sleepover at Grandma's house and organzing rooms at the Dunlap house

December 4th-5th: After dinner together one Friday in early December, we had Jacob's kids spend the night with us. We played games like Duck Duck Goose, London Bridges, and Hike and Seek. We also watched movies and had snacks.

On Saturday morning, we enjoyed a hot breakfast together, played more games, and let the kids play with Legos and other toys till lunchtime. They stayed until late afternoon, and their parents had a nice quiet time at home.

This year we bought Christmas gifts for three families, one whom we never met. That family consists of a single dad and his three children. We were the Secret Santa for the children, ages 6, 12, and 13.

December 6th: Jess and Seb invited us for dinner, always a treat!

I helped Jess clean and organize her boys' rooms this month, and that
meant the boys had to throw away some relished items like this cool aquarium that Beau built out of cardboard

Lines outside of Costco during our governor's limited numbers for essential
businesses mandate. It was like this at Target, Lowe's, Walmart, and even Smith's grocery stores. And the mall was closed. And restaurants could only offer curbside pickup and phone orders. It's been a rough year for everyone.
