On a outing with the Dunlap kids, Hudson wanted chicken wings for lunch, so after ordering lunch at Dion's for the other kids, we stopped at Wingstop and waited a LONG time for his order. We went to the park afterwards, and the wind was blowing crazy strong, but the younger kids wanted to play at the North Domingo Baca park.
Hudson wanted to stay in the Jeep, but I made him go to the park with us. We ate at a picnic table with the wind blowing everyone's food around, and Hudson's delicious fries flew off the picnic table and onto the dirty cement! The kids had fun playing in the wind, except for Hudson who refused to do anything but sit on a bench. I miss Hudson's younger, happier disposition and worry that he doesn't know how to be a kid anymore. |
