Summer 2018: Kayaking on the Rio Grande River

Ever since we went kayaking in Hawaii, we wanted to have our own kayaks! So Mike started looking around and online, and we ended up buying 6 adult kayaks and one used youth kayak. We discovered that there's really a river in Albuquerque! The Rio Grande may be muddy and shallow, but it's deep enough to float a kayak, and there's peace and quiet on the river and plenty of winged wild life to enjoy. We've also seen a herd of cows running along the river and have seen clumps of horse manure while paddling down the river!
