June 23rd: The Roman Colosseum is amazing--even though it's not a spiritually uplifting place when you think about what it was used for. But the fact that it was built around 70 AD kinda blows you away. We waited for over two hours to get in, but we met a nice family that we hung out with afterwards. We even treated them to dinner, and then they treated us to dessert!
