April 28, 2016: Beautiful Atlanta Homes

On my way back to the hotel from the Botanical Garden, I enjoyed looking at beautiful homes along the residential streets. They are mostly all brick, large, and stately. I think they're prettier than most of the houses in Albuquerque!

This one is perched way up on a hill

This house (including the next photo) reminded me of a secluded cottage somewhere

This red brick home seems a bit crowded with all those shrubs

New home construction nestled between two houses

Love the porch and windows on this house

Another shady porch and some pretty stone

The garland above the entry and carport are pretty cool

Now that was fun! I never get tired of looking at houses, especially in a new place. It was a nice relief to make it back to the hotel after being out in the heat all day!

A cool water fountain adorns a downtown bank

The Regency Suites Hotel where we stayed is located on W. Peachtree Street
We discovered that there are a LOT of streets named Peachtree in Atlanta!
